If your opening suits a standard size, a stock bi-fold is usually the quickest option. They are often ready in 5–10 working days once your invoice is paid, subject to availability. Sizes are 2.0 m (2 panels), 2.4 m (3 panels), 3.0 m (3 panels) and 3.6 m (4 panels), all 2,090 mm high.
Measure the structural opening width and height at several points and use the smallest. The frame must be slightly smaller than the opening to allow for packing and sealing, so compare your measurements with the stock sizes and allow your installer’s preferred tolerance. Choose Anthracite grey, White or Black frames, and whether the panels stack to the left or right. Glazing is double glazed clear (Low-E, argon) as standard, with self-cleaning and triple glazed upgrades.
Every door comes with standard hardware, including a lever handle and an Ultion high-security cylinder lock.
Bi-folds can include a traffic door, which is a single panel that opens on its own like a normal door, so you can step in and out every day without folding back the whole set. If the configurator doesn’t capture the arrangement you want, note your preferred traffic door position in the order notes.
Glazing Counter supplies products for your own builder or installer to fit. We don’t survey or install. That keeps the price down and lets you use a fitter you trust, but it also means the sizes you order are your responsibility. Have your installer confirm the structural opening before you order, especially for made-to-measure products, which can’t be returned unless faulty (see returns).
We deliver to UK mainland addresses, quoted separately by postcode. Delivery is to the kerbside or nearest accessible ground-floor point, and someone aged 18 or over needs to be there to check the goods. Large glazed frames are heavy, so have help on hand to unload. Please inspect everything and report any damage within 48 hours, before installation.
There is no online payment. Add your configured item to the basket and send an order request. We check every size and option, then email you an order confirmation and an invoice that includes delivery to your postcode. You pay by bank transfer, and manufacture is booked once payment has cleared. Read more on our delivery page and in our terms.
